Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that progress continues on "Gateway: The Book of Wizards". I will be spending the next few months feverishly working towards finishing the book and getting it printed, afterwards I will announce where you will be able to purchase it.
Just a reminder that you can currently purchase prints and sketchbooks by clicking on the Etsy tab to the right, which is also where you will be able to purchase "The Book of Wizards" when it releases, as well as some other places.

Created as part of the 15k stretch-goal for his Kickstarter Campaign, "Sketchbook Collection 01" compiles almost 100 pages worth of sketches and drawings from Sean Andrew Murray's personal sketchbooks from the past 7 years.
In the pages of this book, you will see how Sean develops his ideas with his unique sketching style and you will even see some of the preliminary drawings for his upcoming book: "Gateway: The Book of Wizards", the main goal of his Kickstarter campaign.

Whew! At long last, the sketchbook has been sent off to the printer.
It took a while navigating all the new stuff I am having to learn about
book publishing/printing. But hey, now I will be more prepared to get it
right the first time when it comes to getting the main "Book of
Wizards" printed.
Here are the details: The sketchbook (entitled "Sean Andrew Murray - Sketchbook Collection Volume 01") is a collection of sketches from my sketchbook from the past 6 or 7 years. I tried to choose the best pages, but also choose pages that will give you some insight into how I work and think. Many of the sketches represent ideas that relate to Gateway, and many of them are the early sketches that eventually have developed into pieces for the "Book of Wizards".
It is nearly 100 pages long and will be available at Spectrum Fantastic Art Live in early May.
IF you happen to be attending SFAL, please stop by my booth and buy your own copy, or if you are a Kickstarter pledger, pick up your pledge-reward copy! I will also have prints available of many of the pieces you see on my blog and portfolio site.
